Table Mount Embroidery Stand with 360° Swivel Head 190-16

The Nurge 190-16 #E2 embroidery stand allows easy embroidering using both hands. The Stand is an evolution of the original Classic Head Nurge Seat Stands except the seat base has been replaced with a simple, cleverly designed clamp to allow you to mount the stand to a table or a solid armed chair.

Note: A piece of scrap fabric is recommended to be inserted between the Stand base and the clamp to avoid marking precious surfaces.

The stand has 4 adjustable joints so that you can find the optimum height, distance and angle depending on your hoop or frame size for maximum working comfort. Additionally, there are 2 extra joints that allow you to tilt your hoop up or down, or pivot to the left or right. It will extend out fully to 500mm and fold down to a very small compact height of 90mm. The folded storage length is 250mm x 140mm width.

The 190-16 Table Mount Stand features the Nurge 360 degrees rotating clamp head. This clamp was designed and introduced by Nurge as an upgrade to the still very popular Classic clamp but was designed to give a more robust ‘heavy-duty’ feel about how it securely clamps the hoop. The clamp will open out to a maximum of 30mm and has a much wider clamp grip across the outer sector of the hoop. The strong gripping capability makes this clamp ideal to hold deeper embroidery and quilting hoops. The unique feature of this clamp is its ability to rotate a full 360 degrees to allow you to work on the back of your project without removing the hoop from the clamp.

The clamp will hold all sizes of wooden hoops, typically from 75mm (3”) diameter up to 310mm (12”) – and all depths of hoops 8mm, 16mm or 24mm. It is also suitable for holding the round, square or oblong plastic embroidery frames which are typically 10mm in depth. Note: For clamping quilting hoops with a larger diameter than 310mm (12”) please be mindful of the total weight of the hoop together with its fabric and threads that you do not put too much stress on the item of furniture you have clamped it to and the ability of this size Stand to take the added weight.
