Table Mount Embroidery Stand with Classic Clamp 190-6

The Nurge 190-6 #E embroidery stand allows easy embroidering using both hands. The Stand is an evolution of the original Classic Head Nurge Seat Stands except the seat base has been replaced with a simple, cleverly designed clamp to allow you to mount the stand to a table or a solid armed chair.

Note: A piece of scrap fabric is recommended to be inserted between the Stand base and the clamp to avoid marking precious surfaces.

The stand has 4 adjustable joints so that you can find the optimum height, distance and angle depending on your hoop or frame size for maximum working comfort. It will extend out fully to 500mm and fold down to a very small compact height of 80mm. The folded storage length is 250mm x 75mm width making this Stand the neatest most compact Stand of the Nurge range.

The 190-6 Table Mount Stand features the Classic Nurge Hoop clamp head. This is the original Nurge clamp that has been used since the inception of the first created Nurge Seat Stand and has been a much loved ‘Classic’ for over 20 years.

The clamp will hold all sizes of wooden hoops, typically from 75mm (3”) diameter up to 310mm (12”) – and all depths of hoops 8mm, 16mm or 24mm. The throat of the clamp will open up to a maximum of 16mm and ideal clamping of the hoop can either be from the top to the bottom of the hoop or from the inside to the outside of the hoop. It is also suitable for holding the round, square or oblong plastic embroidery frames which are typically 10mm in depth. The head of the Classic clamp will hinge up and down through a maximum of 140 degrees to allow you to find the perfect working angle that suits you best.
